GIF & sprite workshop

Images, sheets and GIFs. One workspace.

Your files stay yours. No uploads. Originals unchanged.

Loading replaces frames. Images start in natural filename order. Up to 50 MB / 200 frames / 20 million total frame pixels.

Preview & size

Frames fit inside this size without cropping. Empty space stays transparent.

Export

GIF: up to 256 colours per frame. Transparency is on/off; soft edges may change.

Pixel art → SVG

Static SVG. Keeps displayed pixel colours and transparency. Matching blocks are merged. Best for small pixel art; up to 4 million pixels.

Use View on a frame to choose it. Sheet SVG uses the columns and spacing above.

ZIP includes frame timings. Ping-pong applies to every export. PNG keeps smooth transparency.

Help & credits

GIF mode reads animated GIFs. Image mode reads still PNG/JPEG/WebP images (animated WebP uses its first image). Sheet slicing runs left to right, then down. GIF timing is rounded to 10 ms with a 20 ms minimum. Imported timing is kept; Loop is on by default. Output is limited to 2048 pixels per side and 20 million total frame pixels. Sheet output: up to 8192 pixels per side / 16 megapixels. Files are not saved between visits.
